Fairfax Corner is a vibrant mixed-use destination located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, with entertainment, retail, office, and residential uses integrated into the fabric of a town center. Summit (formerly Camden) at Fairfax Corner is a 488-unit, garden-style apartment community located within Fairfax Corners, offering a variety of living options to those looking to be just a step away from the action. The design for the streetscape, plaza, and open space brings the development to a pedestrian scale while creating a cohesive aesthetic between the mixed building and program types. Elements such as an interactive fountain and performance stage bring life and energy to the community, making it attractive for all ages. LandDesign provided planning and landscape architecture services for this 9-acre site within the 48-acre town center.
