Susan is a Senior Associate who’s work includes a broad range of project types and scales with community at their center. Whether urban multifamily developments or park and recreation master plans, she believes in the power of carefully listening to users to bring creative problem solving and implementable solutions to her work, from concept through construction. Her passion for creating equitable spaces for all user groups, particularly in urban contexts, has created a special focus in public parks and open spaces, playgrounds and outdoor learning environments, and community engagement. Her personal interest in plants and planting design stem from her own childhood play experiences and continue in her urban agriculture experiments at home.
