Sardis Road Station Area

LandDesign developed TOD concepts and land use strategies for eight light rail station areas, one of the largest being Sardis Station, only six miles from Uptown Charlotte'. Based on market projections, a mixed-use environment was created to provide critical mass and place definition at the station, and an outdated suburban shopping center was transformed into an urban block development oriented toward transit, new north/south roadway networks, and a greenway/creek.
