CATS Northeast Corridor Light Rail

This project involves conceptual design and site permitting for thirteen transit stations along Charlotte’s light rail transit line to allow for the opening of the LRT’s extensions in 2017. LandDesign’s role focused on integrating the platform area into the existing land uses and street fabric as well as providing opportunities for future street networks to facilitate redevelopment of adjacent parcels for transit-supportive development.
