Joining LandDesign in 2007, Scott Lagueux is a Principal and Director of the International Planning and Design Studio. Previously, he was a partner with the firm Bermello, Ajamil & Partners, where he served as Director of the Port and Waterfronts Group and Head of their Middle East office.

Mr. Lagueux is a client-focused, results-oriented leader with a proven track record of managing teams of professionals on complex city planning, waterfront, resort, and other planning and design efforts. His expertise includes market analysis, project feasibility, large-scale city planning and design, redevelopment, complex waterfront planning and design, international project efforts, green design initiatives, placemaking and branding. From remaking existing waterfront and littoral zones in Miami, New York, San Diego, Bermuda, Cape Town, and Istanbul to shaping iconic new developments in Rome, Dubai, Tianjin, and Hong Kong, Mr. Lagueux’s 15 years of experience span over 60 countries.

Mr. Lagueux earned a Master of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida. He is a LEED-accredited and AICP-certified land planner and a member of several professional organizations, including the American Planning Association, Urban Land Institute, and US Green Building Council’s Charlotte Regional Chapter. Mr. Lagueux also serves on the University of Florida’s Urban and Regional Planning Executive Committee of the Professional Advisory Committee.
