Joining LandDesign in 1998, Rhett Crocker is a Partner and Senior Landscape Architect. Based in Charlotte, he is responsible for master planning and designing mixed-use developments, residential communities, and commercial/office projects. In his 15 years experience, Mr. Crocker has served as project manager on a variety of projects in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, and Michigan.

Mr. Crocker has worked extensively with landscape, hardscape, and detailed space planning and has coordinated complex mixed-use retail and large-scale master planning projects, for which he is particularly adept at understanding how multiple subconsultants of varying expertise work together to achieve a client's overall vision. Through LandDesign's international studio, he also has experience with master planning in Dubai, Ethiopia, China, and Uganda.

A few of Mr. Crocker's most notable projects include Southborough, an award-winning mixed-use urban infill development in Charlotte, NC that involved an innovative solution to blending a large home improvement retail center into an historic neighborhood, and Blakeney Town Center, a master planned 300-acre mixed-use development that has been awarded the American Society of Landscape Architects NC Chapter – 2007 Award of Merit.

Mr. Crocker earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Clemson University and is a registered landscape architect in North Carolina and Texas. He is also a member of several professional organizations, including the Congress for New Urbanism, International Council of Shopping Centers, and Urban Land Institute.
